How to download your Instagram data
- Open Instagram and go to your profile.
- Tap the menu (three lines) and select Accounts Center.
- Go to Your information and permissions, then Download your information.
- Select your Instagram account and choose Some of your information.
- Select only Followers and following, then tap Download or request.
- Choose JSON (recommended) or HTML as the format, and select a date range of All time.
- Instagram will email you a download link — it usually takes a few minutes.
- Download and unzip the file. You will find followers_1.json (possibly followers_2.json, etc.) and following.json inside the followers_and_following folder.
- Upload those files above.
How to see who doesn't follow you back on Instagram
Instagram does not show you a built-in list of accounts that don't follow you back. The only native way to check is to open your following list, tap each profile one by one, and look for the "Follow back" or "Follows you" label. That is impractical once your following list passes a few hundred accounts.
