YouTube also offers a Shorts-focused monetization path. To qualify, you need 1,000 subscribers and 10 million public Shorts views in the last 90 days. This path gives access to the Shorts ad-revenue sharing module. How to use this tool
Enter your current subscriber count and the total public watch hours your channel has accumulated over the past 12 months — both figures are available in YouTube Studio under the monetization tab. For an ETA projection, add your average weekly subscriber and watch-hour growth rates. The tool instantly shows two progress bars against the YouTube Partner Program thresholds (1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours), highlights your binding gate, and estimates how many weeks remain.
